Accelerator brings together some of the region's brightest new filmmaking talent. In the heat of MIFF's first weekend, from 22nd-25th July, Accelerator has invited 13 writer/directors from Australia and New Zealand to participate in this dynamic program of presentations, workshops, meetings, parties and screenings with local and international industry specialists.

Now in its second year, Accelerator is a Melbourne International Film Festival initiative in partnership with the Australian Film Commission and Film Victoria, and in association with the Australian Centre for the Moving Image.
