LITTLE DEATHS
It's about love, it's about loss, it's about sex.
Isolated, a lonely tollbooth operator watches as the world flows past him in a never-ending stream of vehicles, their passengers travelling to and from their lives. They don't give him a second thought, but from their clothes, their hair, their cars, he imagines the kind of world they inhabit.
Taking this concept and running with it, Giula Sandler has written ten unconvent-ional short films about love in all its myriad shapes and textures, and enlisted ten under-funded Melbourne filmmakers to bring them to life, creating a visual and narrative feast.
A low-budget collaborative feature film project, Little Deaths is ten short films, ten directors, one writer and the most important theme in the world.
