SPIDERBABY: DIRECTOR'S CUT
“Spider Baby is unclassifiable weirdness, and that's meant as a compliment.” - Slant Magazine
An inbred cannibal family runs amok in this 1968 debut feature from exploitation king Jack Hill (Coffy, Foxy Brown). This rare cult classic has been re-released in all its schlock glory in a definitive director's cut.
Loyal family chauffeur Bruno watches over the children of the Merrye family mansion, who represent the end of the family line. Afflicted with a degenerative brain disease that causes them to regress to pre-human savagery and cannibalism, the children prey on anyone who enters their lair. Led by Virginia, who thinks she's a spider, the family is tested when distant relatives arrive to claim the property.
Stars The Devil's Rejects' Sid Haig, and Lon Chaney Jr (The Wolf Man) in one of his final roles.
