LONG WEEKEND (M)
“If you've been nurturing the idea that a weekend's camping will kick out your urban anxieties and bring you refreshingly closer to nature, this will have you thinking again.” - cinephilia.net.au
When a bickering suburban couple (John Hargreaves and Briony Behets) decide to camp at a remote beach, they find themselves on the receiving end of Mother Nature's bad mood. Shot in glorious Panavision, this feature from filmmaker Colin Eggleston ratchets up the dread as this hapless couple's holiday goes from mild inconvenience to full blown terror.
