The Living Wild
A film on the wild life of Ceylon, shot in Ruhuner and Wilpattu National Parks, and in the abandoned Veddha caves of Nuwaragala.
The film has been conceived in three sequences - "Man in Nature", as exemplified by the Veddha life when primitive man and animal hunted together in a nomadic existence; "Man against Nature", when man, more settled, indulges in wanton destruction of nature in order to protect himself and thirdly, "Man with Nature", when man has recognised the importance of Wild Life and tries to preserve what is left.
