Allard K. Lowenstein, a former Congressman, who was described as the Pied Piper of three generations of student activists and the organiser of the “Dump Johnson” movement, was shot in his New York law office in March 1980. This documentary is about his activities and his tragic death at the hands of a former protege and civil rights activist, who has been deemed insane.
