The Valley of the Yarra
Originally made in 35 mm Ferrania colour as a general release film. In the 1950s Film Australia made a surprising number of colour films. The 1956 production report, which lists all films in any stage of production, states, 9 were in Ferraniacolour, 9 in 35mm Eastman colour, 10 are 16mm Kodachrome, 15 are 35mm B&W and 3 in 16mm B&W. The Valley which charts the beautiful river Yarra from its source to its mouth was made in Ferrania which had to be sent to Italy for processing and printing.
