Personal home-movie footage of a family house is subjected to a rich variety of hand manipulations and chemical processes - toning, tinting, ripping, perforating, bleaching, scratching, collaging, deterioration and emulsion-lifting as well as manipulations in the printing and developing process - accompanied by the strains of a constantly circling record player needle which eventually comes unstuck.
