It Works
Four handicapped children of ten, each working at their task; to write, to swim to dance, to speak. We do not see their disability, not 'how hard it must be for them', but rather see them simply at work, acting and existing in the world that their bodies shape for them. it works uses the simplest of formal techniques to position the viewer within that experience, to re-cast our perceptions so as to feel rather than to understand that world, to sense something of the manifold speeds of thought and of the value of slowness.
