A large number of Jewish immigrants are introduced each year into Israel from Middle East Countries and their assimilation creates a serious problem. Beautifully photographed in sensitive Eastmancolour, we see through the eyes of a training officer, assigned to a group of Eastern immigrants, how these people, slovenly, unused to regular work, become gradually part of the movement reconstructing Israel.
