A hypnotic interplay between footage of fireworks shot during a Japanese summer festival.

Tomonari Nishikawa (45 7 Broadway, MIFF 2014; Tokyo – Ebisu, MIFF 2011) weaves together Super 16mm footage of fireworks and the sonic imprints left by the same images on the optical soundtrack. A glittering burst of sound and vision.
